Controller

The controller of personal data processed through this website is Tomáš Bartoš, Slovakia. You can contact me through the contact form on this website.

Data I process

  • Contact form data: name, email address, selected service, and message.
  • Language preference: the NEXT_LOCALE cookie can store the selected website language.
  • Anti-abuse data: the request IP address is used for a short server-side rate limit.
  • Technical request data: the hosting platform may process standard log data such as IP address, user agent, requested URL, date, and time.

Why I process it

  • To reply to your message and discuss a requested project or service.
  • To keep the selected language consistent while using the website.
  • To protect the form from spam, abuse, and excessive automated requests.
  • To keep the website secure, reliable, and available.

Legal bases

  • Pre-contractual communication or legitimate interest applies when you contact me about a project or service.
  • Legitimate interest applies to remembering the selected website language.
  • Legitimate interest applies to website security, spam prevention, and basic technical operation.

Service providers

This website may use service providers for hosting, content management, and email delivery. Current implementation uses Sanity for website content and Resend for sending contact-form emails. These providers process data only as needed to provide their services.

Retention

Contact messages are kept only as long as needed to reply, manage the potential project relationship, and meet legal or accounting obligations if cooperation follows. The server-side rate limit stores IP-based counters temporarily and resets after 15 minutes.

International transfers

Some providers may process data outside Slovakia or the European Economic Area. Where this happens, appropriate safeguards such as contractual protections are used where required.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing where applicable. You may also lodge a complaint with the Slovak Office for Personal Data Protection.
